Fair Usage Policy
Unlimited is the point. Here is exactly what that means, what is metered, and what we do about abuse.
1.What unlimited means
Every paid plan has no artificial cap on ordinary use of visits, pages, funnels, products, forms, members, contacts and templates. Published pages are served from our edge cache, so a busy page costs us almost nothing per visit, and we do not count visits, pages or funnels at all.
Ordinary use means a real business selling to real people: your own funnels, your own sites, your own lists and your own customers, however many of them there are.
2.What is metered, and what each plan includes
Four things cost us money every time they happen, so each plan includes a generous amount of them every month (storage and domains are totals, not monthly):
- Starter: 5 GB of storage (uploads and our video hosting), 3 custom domains, 10,000 emails a month through our sender, 20,000 automation runs a month.
- Pro: 25 GB of storage (uploads and our video hosting), 9 custom domains, 50,000 emails a month through our sender, 100,000 automation runs a month.
- Unlimited: 100 GB of storage (uploads and our video hosting), 25 custom domains, 200,000 emails a month through our sender, 500,000 automation runs a month.
- Emails you send through your own sender (your SMTP server, SendGrid, Gmail, Microsoft or your own Resend key) are never metered — only mail that leaves through ours.
- Automation runs, imports and Assistant pipeline runs are counted as background compute. AI itself runs on your own key, so we do not meter it.
Settings → Usage & fair use shows this month’s figures against your plan at any time.
3.What happens near and over an included amount
- At 80% you see a notice on the Usage screen and the workspace owner gets one email that month.
- At 100% the app shows a fair-usage banner with a Request more link. Nothing you have built stops working.
- Emails through our sender over the month’s amount are queued, never dropped: they go out at the start of the next month, or at once if you connect your own sender.
- Storage is checked at upload: an upload that would pass the amount is refused with the figures, and nothing already stored is touched.
- A custom domain past the amount is refused with a note that more domains are an add-on.
- Visits, pages and funnels are never stopped for usage.
4.What counts as abuse
Unlimited is for ordinary use. These are not ordinary use:
- Traffic that bypasses the edge cache on purpose or at scale — bots hammering forms or checkout, load tests, scrapers pointed at your own pages.
- Using pages as file or video hosting for things that are not part of your funnels, sites or courses.
- Sending that damages our mail reputation: purchased or scraped lists, high bounce or complaint rates, mail without a working unsubscribe.
- Illegal or deceptive content, as described in the Terms of Service under Acceptable use.
- Reselling a workspace’s capacity to others without our written agreement.
5.What we do about it
- Throttle the workspace’s share of our origin (the requests the edge cache cannot answer) until the pattern stops.
- Queue its sends through our sender, and ask it to connect its own.
- Ask it to move heavy files or video to a service built for them.
- Offer dedicated resources when a workspace simply needs more than a shared plan is built for.
We write to the workspace owner before we throttle anything, except where the traffic is harming other customers right now.
6.Our promise
We do not cancel a paid annual plan for usage. We throttle, and we talk. If a limit ever gets in the way of a real business, tell us — the amounts above are a floor we expect to raise, not a trap.
7.Dedicated resources
Some workspaces outgrow a shared plan: very large lists, very heavy video, very high traffic that cannot be cached. For them we offer dedicated resources — a conversation, not a button. Write to support@aafunnel.com with what you run and we will size it with you.
8.Plans are annual
Every paid plan is bought by the year. We remind the workspace owner 30, 7, 1 days before the renewal date. If a plan lapses, everything keeps working for 14 more days; after that the workspace becomes read-only (your published pages stay live for another 30 days) until it is renewed. Nothing you have is deleted.
